/ File CP4DMU.HLP / Documentation of CP4DMU.ASM / last edit: 14-jun-1987 16:00:00 Charles J. Lasner (CJL) / CP4DMU, the program to "unfix" the DECMATE KERMIT-80 environment to / allow normal flow-control after using KERMIT-80 with half-duplex / communication (with CMS-KERMIT) is run like any other CP/M-80 program. / It is invoked with: / E>CP4DMU() / There is no response, other than the next monitor prompt. / Creating CP4DMU.COM . / CP4DMU.COM can be created by the normal method: / E>LOAD CP4DMU / This command requires the presence of CP4DMU.HEX on the current device. / CP4DMU.HEX can be acquired from the KERMIT distribution, or can be / assembled from CP4DMU.ASM (also available from the KERMIT distribution) / or can be hand-entered with DDT if all other methods are not possible. / Limitations of CP4DMU. / CP4DMU was created to solve the specific problem of the DECMATE / CP/M-80 KERMIT after communicating with half-duplex environments such / as CMS-KERMIT. It should not be used for any other purpose. (Similar / programs *SHOULD* exist for the ROBIN (VT-180) and RAINBOW (PC100), but / CP4DMU is DECMATE specific.) Use of CP4DMU.COM obviates the need to / re-boot after running CP4DMF.COM (see the file CP4DM.BWR for more / information). / Charles J. Lasner (OC.LASNER@CU20B) (CJL)
