/ File CP4DMF.HLP / Documentation of CP4DMF.ASM / last edit: 14-jun-1987 16:00:00 Charles J. Lasner (CJL) / CP4DMF, the program to "fix" the DECMATE KERMIT-80 environment to allow / formal half-duplex communication (with CMS-KERMIT) to work is run like / any other CP/M-80 program. It is invoked with: / E>CP4DMF() / There is no response, other than the next monitor prompt. / Creating CP4DMF.COM . / CP4DMF.COM can be created by the normal method: / E>LOAD CP4DMF / This command requires the presence of CP4DMF.HEX on the current device. / CP4DMF.HEX can be acquired from the KERMIT distribution, or can be / assembled from CP4DMF.ASM (also available from the KERMIT distribution) / or can be hand-entered with DDT if all other methods are not possible. / Limitations of CP4DMF. / CP4DMF was created to solve the specific problem of the DECMATE / CP/M-80 KERMIT when communicating with half-duplex environments such / as CMS-KERMIT. It should not be used for any other purpose. (Similar / programs *SHOULD* exist for the ROBIN (VT-180) and RAINBOW (PC100), but / CP4DMF is DECMATE specific.) To restore the normal flow-control / character handling, the user must re-boot or run CP4DMU.COM (see the / file CP4DM.BWR for more information). / Charles J. Lasner (OC.LASNER@CU20B) (CJL)
