Sublist Definition Menu Help This menu allows you to choose a function to perform on a sublist definition. Please note the difference between a sublist and a sublist definition. A sublist is a collection of names and addresses that meet certain requirements (eg, all employees who are engineers). A sublist definition is the set of requirements that define how the addresses are to be chosen. There is one definition for each sublist. The addresses in a sublist may change as the addresses in the Mailing List File change. For example, if the company hired 100 more engineers, then the next time the engineer sublist was requested there would be 100 more addresses, even though the sublist definition had not changed. To print/display a sublist, specify P or D at the Main Menu (not S, which is only for sublist definitions). Type 'U' to add a new sublist definition, or change an existing one. Type 'P' to print the sublist definition (NOT the sublist itself). Type 'D' to display the definition (NOT the sublist) at the terminal. Type 'R' to remove a sublist definition. Type 'L' to display all the sublist definitions on your screen.
