Here they are... dumpit dumps the tape out in an od sort of format to see what is really in the tape image file... dirit dumps a list of the entries from the tape to the std output saveit takes all the tape files and saves them in a directory called "tapes" relative to the current pwd... You would want to use it like: mkdir tapes saveit dsd_...bin.tap mv tapes better_name The files are named using the first directory entry record as the name, with spaces replaced by '_' They are not pretty, but they do seem to work... BTW: I was playing with some of the files in the HP MorePaperTapes page, I noticed that the underlying files are apparently no longer accessible, at least to me... I don't know if I made a short copy, but the exec file for DOS-M that I downloaded from that directory is damaged (could have been my download, but it is no longer there to check...) Just FYI...
