But I think the principles apply to a number of occupational pension schemes. In addition it will: %JR% a) Calculate early retirement with enhancements of 6 2/3 or 10 years added service. %JL% b) Calculate early retirement with enhancements of 6 2/3 or 10 years %JR%added service plus a redundancy payment under the state scheme (but %JL%WITHOUT the weekly pay limit), with appropriate abatement of lump sum %JR%and pension. It also reduces redundancy where employee is over 64 years of age. c) Calculate ill-health retirement with appropriate enhancement. d) Do all the above calculations for part-timers. %JL% e) Deal with pre October 1956 service and allow the addition of 8 days service lost under the Teachers' Scheme. %JR%f) Permit pro-rata enhancement calculations for early retirement %JL%where, for instance, service requirements of your scheme have not been met. %JR%The program requests the minimum information needed. It calculates %JL%average salary, periods of service, pensions, lump sums and %JR%redundancy pay on the basis of continuous service. And it carries out some basic checks on the validity of information provided. How to use the program: 1. Load from EPROM. 2. RUN 3. Information about the employee is then requested. %JL%4. The final calculations are displayed on the screen and may be sent to a printer (Epson compatible, using A4 paper). %JR%5. You may then start a new calculation for the same or a different employee. %JL%This is NOT a PUBLIC DOMAIN program and is not for commercial %JR%resale.
