This demonstration has been tested on a %H2%Hewlett Packard Laser- 
%H2%Jet%H2% printer fitted with font cartridge %H2%92286Y PC Courier 1.%H2%  

To load the printer driver enter the printer editor %H2%[]E%H2% and 
load the accompanying file, %H2%<>FL%H2%, using its full name, i.e. 
/LIBRARY/Z074B .  Save the file %H2%<>FS%H2% with a simple title, e.g. 
%H2%HPLJ%H2%. The file name will be changed at the left-hand side of 
the screen. Update the printer editor %H2%<>FU%H2% and after about 10 
seconds (when the cursor starts to flash again) return to 
pipedream with %H2%[]P%H2%.   

You can return to the default Epsom printer editor by entering 
the editor and %H2%<>FNEW%H2%. To recall the HPLJ file enter the 
editor and %H2%<>FL%H2% %H4%Filename%H4%  %H2%HPLJ%H2% then type %H2%<>FU%H2% as before.

The strings have been entered mainly as ASCII characters 
between quotation marks. This has the advantage of being 
visually similar to the codes issued by Hewlett Packard.
When writing your own strings note the difference between l 
(lower case L) and 1 (one), as detailed by Hewlett Packard.

For landscape printing the %H2%Printer on%H2% string could be changed 
in the editor once to the landscape string shown and a second 
file saved with a different name to give a quick way of 
obtaining landscape printing. With the tested font cartridge 
condensed print is the only option in landscape format.

To avoid alternate sheets of blank paper being produced it 
may be necessary to alter the page length, %H2%<>O%H2%, to 65 or 
reduce the margins.
