%CO:A,12,72%%H2%MORPH.BAS%H2% runs under the Basic patch (Z007B) by Richard Russell and is a program to demonstrate 'in-betweening' - that is, changing one shape into another in a number of given steps. The program allows you to generate and edit basic line shapes - either in terms of coordinate values or by 'dragging' lines around the screen. You may then use the LOAD option from the menu to load a source shape and a destination shape. The ANIMATE option then asks for the number ofsteps - the number of in-between frames - and whether the screen should be cleared between individual frames. (Not clearing the screen can be useful for producing pretty (?) geometric shapes based on one or a few lines. Two small files are provided to experiment with: REAGAN and THATCHER - don't use the "pic" extension when loading into Morph.BAS.
